A delicious filling meal for all the family!
Serves 4.
8 sausages of any type.
1 tin of baked beans.
1 tin of cannellini beans or butter beans or kidney beans.
1 bag of potatoes, for mash, peeled and quartered
3 tbps of milk.
2 tbps of butter.
4 large handful of peas, or other vegetables.
A little oil for frying
1. Heat oven to 180C/gas mark 4.
2. Brown the sausages in a frying pan with a little oil for approximately 10 mins.
3. Boil the potatoes in a saucepan until they are ready for mashing.
4. Pop the beans in the bottom of an oven proof dish.
5. Once the sausages have browned, cut them into quarters and pop them on the beans.
6. Once the potatoes have boiled, drain them.
7. Mix the milk and butter into the potatoes and mash.
8. Spread the mash over the sausage and bean mixture.
9. Put in the oven for 25 mins or until the mash starts to brown.
10. Serve with some peas or other vegetables.
