What we Do
Creative Chefs brings the joy of cooking to children by conducting engaging and educational cooking sessions in schools. Each child is provided with ingredients and guided through the process of measuring, chopping, and creating a delicious recipe. These hands-on experiences not only teach essential cooking skills but also foster a love for healthy eating. Children then take their recipes home to recreate with their families, promoting a collaborative and enjoyable activity that strengthens family bonds.

How we Got Here
Founded in 2014, Creative Chefs began by hosting paid cooking sessions for small groups of children. Parents gladly paid for these enriching experiences, and the sessions quickly became popular. In 2022, we partnered with North Herts District Council and local schools to make our program accessible to all children, regardless of their financial situation. With council funding, we transitioned to offering free sessions, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn about healthy, seasonal eating.

Where we Want to Go
Our vision is to expand Creative Chefs reach to even more schools and communities, bringing the joy of healthy eating to as many children as possible. We aim to create a generation who are confident in the kitchen and passionate about healthy eating. By expanding our program, we hope to provide more children with valuable life skills, encourage creativity, and promote a love for nutritious food.
